- Which areas can I compare?
- Any postcode districts in England & Wales — 'M1', 'SW11', 'LS6'… You can also type a full postcode and we'll use its district. Scotland and Northern Ireland are not covered (different land registries).
- Where do the figures come from?
- Every figure is computed from sales actually registered with HM Land Registry (Price Paid Data) since 1995 — not asking prices. Volumes are the number of registered sales in the latest full year.
- Why do prices differ from portals like Rightmove or Zoopla?
- Portals mostly show asking prices. We only use completed, registered sales — what buyers actually paid. That's typically a few percent lower and far more reliable for comparing areas.
